The MPV School District and City of Mulberry collaborated on a Joint Use Agreement Grant from the Arkansas Department of Education during the 2018-19 school year.  Mrs. Jan Williams, Business Manager as well as School Wellness Chairperson, collaborated with Mrs. Melody Sebastian, Curriculum Director to plan and write the grant on behalf of our district.  A thirty thousand dollar ($30,000.00) grant was awarded to the MPV School District.  The District goal with this grant is to work with our city government in providing opportunities for living a healthy lifestyle.

The District would like to thank Mayor Baxter and the city for lending a helping hand in developing a walking track at Marvin Primary School.  Our students and staff will enjoy the dry surface to use as a venue for exercise. The track located at Marvin has an 8 foot wide asphalt walking path and the MPV District invites the community to come during non-school hours to walk or jog on the track.
