Do you or a family member currently have health insurance through AR Kids 1st or Arkansas Medicaid? If so, here’s what you need to know. Everyone with Medicaid and CHIP health insurance will need to renew their coverage in the coming year. You should take action now to make sure that Arkansas Medicaid has the correct contact information for every member of your family that is on Medicaid and CHIP. You can update your information online at ar.gov/update, by calling Update Arkansas at 1-844-872-2660 or by contacting your local DHS office. It is also important to open and respond to all mail from Medicaid and CHIP over the next year to avoid losing your healthcare coverage. As regular renewals restart in Medicaid and CHIP, we want to make sure you have the information you need to protect coverage for your child and other members of your family.
